As of 1 December 2025, the balance in the special fundraising account the NBU opened to support the defense forces on 24 February 2022 made over UAH 30.3 billion. Last month, over UAH 6.1 billion was received to the special account.
Nearly UAH 126.8 billion, in equivalent, was received in the special account since the full-scale invasion.
Money has been coming in from individuals and businesses of Ukraine and from all over the international community (including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, France, Canada, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, and many other countries).
That includes en equivalent of almost UAH 105.2 billion that was remitted from abroad in foreign currencies (U.S. dollars, euros, GB pounds, Canadian dollars, Chinese renminbi, Japanese yen, Swiss francs, Polish zlotys, and Australian dollars).
Overall, since the start of the full-scale war, the NBU has allocated almost UAH 96.7 billion, including about UAH 12.2 billion in November, to meet the needs of the defense forces. Specifically:
- over UAH 1,649 million for the National Guard of Ukraine
- UAH 1,650 million for the National Police of Ukraine
- over UAH 36,670 million for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (UAH 91.7 million of previously unused funds were returned on 19 November 2025, and UAH 2,306 million on 27 November 2025)
- UAH 999.5 million for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
- over UAH 8,179 million for the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine (almost UAH 1.2 million of previously unused funds were returned on 26 November 2025)
- over UAH 156.2 million for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
- almost UAH 100.9 million for the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine
- over UAH 233 million for the State Special Transport Service
- over UAH 784.1 million for the Security Service of Ukraine
- over UAH 286.9 million for the needs of military units
- over UAH 1,491 million for the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine
- over UAH 43,537 million for the Defence Procurement Agency (UAH 85.1 million on 25 November 2025, UAH 11,857 million on 28 November 2025)
- over UAH 941.3 million for defence activities of the regional military administrations (UAH 63 million on 26 November 2025).
