Analyst (RESTART LENDING PROGRAM)

Within the framework of agreement between Ukraine Reforms Architecture Foundation (URAF) and EUROPEAN BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT The National bank of Ukraine provides technical assistance in finding candidates for the position ANALYST.

•    The ANALYST contributes to the Fulfillment of Strategic goal: ІII. Resumption of Lending:
•    The monthly-consolidated report on the projects of the Restart Lending Program has been prepared.
•    The status of the Program’s projects is monitored and reported to the Program Manager, including, but not limited to, monitoring of project progress and timely completion of tasks.
•    Control of the completeness and timeliness of program project documentation updates, PM’s reports to PMO, etc.
•    Prepared various materials at the requests of Project Managers.
•    Concepts and roadmaps of the Restart Lending Program projects have been prepared, etc.
•    Conducted analysis of legal and financial information as requested by project managers.
•    Prepared media materials at the request of Project Managers or the Department of Communications.
•    Prepared a report on the analysis of best international practices and possibilities of their application within the project (if applicable to the current status of the project).
•    Lending initiatives support, constantly looking for opportunities for sustainable lending growth.


Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
•    At least a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field, preferably a master’s degree in economics, finance, law, business administration, technology, or related disciplines
•    3+ years of general professional experience in the financial services sector or consulting (minimum 1 year)
•    Preferably 3+ years of experience in development, analysis and implementation of policies and strategies in a specific sector, financial management and controls, budgeting, drafting legislation, human resources management and development, reform processes, project management, monitoring and evaluation and/or other related areas is an asset;
•    Knowledge of the reform agenda in Ukraine is an asset.
•    Fluency in oral and written English and Ukrainian.
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal, financial and other related information;
•    Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills; 
•    Accurate, self-organized, result and quality oriented;
•    Ability to work both co-operatively in team and independently;
•    Ability to work under pressure and short timelines;
•    PC literacy (advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Word; Visio, Project, and Jira/Confluence are an asset).


Accountabilities & Responsibilities
•    Acting as an administrator of the Restart Lending Program (maintenance of Jira software as program administrator, creating reports, program, and project spaces, updating program and project documents, setting and tracking tasks, etc.).
•    Provide consistent methodological and informational support to all project participants of the Restart Lending Program.
•    Ensure project management approaches and methodologies are applied throughout all stages of Restart Lending Program projects.
•    Deepening the work within the framework of implementing projects, that are included in the Restart Lending Program of NBU.
•    Analyze legal and financial information to be able to interpret it in project documentation and other materials.
•    Prepare press materials on the projects of the Restart Lending Program.
•    Development of measures to stimulate the growth of sustainable lending.


What we offer
•    The Analyst will be contracted by the Ukraine Reforms Architecture Foundation (URAF) and perform his/her duties under the supervision of the Director of the NBU Strategy and Development Department. 
•    This role will be offered as a 12-month short-term contract. 
•    The position will be remote during martial law in Ukraine;
•    The salary rate will be determined based on the assessment of the quality and relevance of the professional experience and competencies of the candidate.
